Dragon Ball Z Gaiden: Saiyan Zetsumetsu Keikaku was the first installment of media in the Dragon Ball Z Gaiden: Saiyajin Zetsumetsu Keikaku series. It was released on the Famicom on August 6, 1993.[2] Gameplay takes the form of a card battle RPG, where the player`s movement and battle choices are dictated by the randomly generated playing cards the player receives. Rather than following the source material, the game`s story is completely original.
